PROJECT: HAILEYBURY HPV TOP
The brief for this project was to create a shirt for the Haileybury Human Powered Vehicle team - they wanted something a bit different from their old checkerboard design, and gave us reign to make something ‘a bit unusual’. I went through a few design iterations before they landed on what they were after.
This happened to be a school we’d worked with before; during the sampling and production artwork process, we usually match any brand-appropriate colour swatches, logos, and other artwork with our suppliers’ printers to ensure consistency. This time, I could use colours, font, and placements that I had previously established :)
Once everything was approved, I went back into Fast Track and adapted my design for the entire size range the school was after. It was ready for bulk ordering.
Once the design was finalized, I created production artwork for it. Using a program called Fast Track in Adobe Illustrator, I created a sample size so that the customer could check the design, placements, positions, and colour.
The finished result!
(sadly, it was raining that day…)
